Sugar Creek Red's Hot Rod
DOB: 03-17-2002
Sugar Creek Red's Hot Rod, whom we affectionately call "Bucky" came to Antiquity Oaks because of his mother's great mammaries. In addition to having advanced registry and a third-generation milk star, she has received numerous "best udder" awards. Bucky was the sire of all our 2003 kids. In addition to his genetic potential, we love Bucky because of his exceptional personality. Although he was dam-raised, he is almost TOO friendly for a buck. Whenever you walk into the pen, he runs up to you and wants to be petted, and if he doesn't think you're giving him enough attention, he starts rubbing his head on you!
Bucky's daughters include Antiquity Oaks Eve, who freshened with an udder greatly improved over her dam's, and Antiquity Oaks Sadie Hawkins (out of Prairie Oak Gherrideli), who resides at Tucked Away Farm in New Hampshire. We have also retained one of his 2003 sons, Antiquity Oaks John Adams, as a herd sire. We are happy to report that John Adams has already produced some beautiful (and impressive) kids, including Antiquity Oaks Carmen, Bucky's granddaughter!
