You may be surprised by our candid (and sometimes brutally honest) descriptions of the goats we have for sale. We believe that every goat has a place, and we know that every future goat owner has a different set of criteria for their "perfect" goat. If we describe our animals as accurately as possible, they are more likely to find a happy home, and our customers will be happy with the goats they get from us. Not every goat has the potential to be a bucket busting milker or a master champion, and although genetics can be a crapshoot, we'll do our best to let you know what type of genetics are behind each individual goat. We know that most goats will never see the inside of a show ring, so we focus our descriptions more on the personalities and milking abilities of the goats and their parents. If you have specific questions not answered here, or if you would like to see more pictures, please don't hesitate to contact us for more information.
Please visit our kidding page to see who else may be available soon.

A cream buckling is available out of this breeding. His dam, Lizzie, is probably our most dairy doe. When she was a dry yearling, several people at shows asked us if she was a saanen kid. The cream buck is especially long-boned and very dairy and should make a great herd sire. The more I look at him, the more I want to keep him for myself.
Maly Tennessee Williams *S - $400 (buck)
DOB: 03-18-2008
This is another little buckling that I don't want to part with! He has extremely thin skin and open ribs. His dam and his sire's dam are two of our favorite does.
Please check the Kidding Schedule to see does that have recently kidded and kids that may be available.
Wethers & Pet Does
Coco's wether A little gold wether out of Antiquity Oaks Coco Chanel is available. The above picture was taken at one month of age. He's $75 and is eligible to be registered as a wether in AGS and NDGA.
Anne's wether One wether out of Antiquity Oaks Anne Bronte is available now. $75. He is eligible to be registered as a wether in AGS and NDGA.
Charlotte's wether One wether out of Antiquity Oaks Charlotte Bronte will be available on August 3. $75. He is eligible to be registered as a wether in AGS and NDGA.
Annie's wether One wether out of Maly PG Annie Oakley will be available on August 2. $75. He is eligible to be registered as a wether in AGS and NDGA. If you purchase his sister, Antiquity Oaks Agnes Grey, he is only $50.

Shirley's doe One pet doe out of Antiquity Oaks Shirley Jackson is available now. Shirley's beautiful little doe is being sold as a pet because she has a teat defect. Although a teat defect is not a disqualification in the show ring, we don't sell goats with a teat defect with papers, because they are not what we consider show quality. They generally get last in their class. So, this little girl needs to go to a pet home where she'll be loved in spite of her imperfection. $150 without papers/NOT AVAILABLE with papers.
Sale pending: Star's doe One blue-eyed pet doe out of Moonshine Acres Starlet Moment will be available August 11. Star's blue-eyed little doe is being sold as a pet because she has a teat defect.
Giselle is a two-year-old gold and white doe. She has a wonderfully sweet disposition and loves to be petted. Unfortunately, she had a LOT of trouble kidding. Her pelvis was much too small, and we took her to the vet for what we thought would be a c-section. Luckily, the vet was able to pull the kid out, although it took him about 15 minutes to do so. Gisells was so traumatized by the incident that she did not even look at her kid, which we are bottle-raising. Needless to say, Giselle should NEVER be bred again! She is being sold as a pet without papers for $150.
Does
If you are interested in buying an adult doe, please contact us. We will be selling some does in milk this year, but we have not decided which ones yet.
Bucks
Antiquity Oaks Baritone *S - $400
DOB: 3-11-2006
Reserve Grand Champion under Judge Don Bergfield; June 21, 2008
We were very tempted to keep Baritone for ourselves,
but with the number of bucks we already have (including Baritone's sire), Baritone doesn't get much action. He sired Maly's Streetcar Named Desire and Maly's Tennesee Williams this year. (Pictures are above.) Both of those kids have very thin skin and open ribs. Carmen, Baritone's
dam, is a fourth freshening four-year-old with lots of
potential. She won GCH senior in 2006 under Julie
Matthys, earning her first leg towards her AGS
championship. In 2007, she won GCH senior under Stephen Richter and her second AGS leg. She finished her championship with a win under Lisa Seiber Syneseal in June 2007. She also earned Best Udder in Show under Jennifer Lohman-Peterson in 2007. She was classified in 2006 by
Alice Hall at 86.8, Very Good. On DHIR official test in 2006,
her high test day was 3.6 pounds at 55 days in milk.
Carmen's 2006 DHI record is:
2.00 years, 286 days in milk, 507 pounds of milk, 30
pounds of butterfat (5.9%), and 20 pounds protein
(3.9%), making Baritone a *S. In 2007, she freshened on April 9, and her first test day (at only 11 days in milk) she milked 3.4 pounds. She stands at only 19 1/2 inches tall, small, but with an amazing udder, just like her dam!
We are excited about Carmen's potential as she
continues to mature. As a 6 year old, her dam was
milking more than 4 1/2 pounds at the peak of her lactation.
Carmen's daughter from 2005, AO Lizzie Borden,
was GCH junior as a dry yearling in 2006 under Don
Bergfield. Carmen's daughter, AO Mme Butterfly, was GCH junior as a three-month-old under Valerie Cysinski.
Carmen's sire, AO John Adams, went grand at every
show we took him to in 2006 (four), although
two of the wins were not counted towards his AGS
championship (the judges would not sign the AGS show
win form). John Adams classified 87.1, Very Good.
Baritone's sire, Rosasharn FS Pegasus *S, is the son of the 2005 AGS
National Champion Senior Doe, Rosasharn's Eclipse, who
was also #1 for milk, butterfat, and protein on DHIR
in 2001, and was on the Top Ten list two other times.
Baritone himself was Reserve Junior Champion twice in 2006, and is gold and white like his dam. He has very
nice (long) teats and open ribbing like his sire.
Don't live in Illinois? No problem. We ship out of O'Hare International Airport in Chicago or the regional airport in Bloomington, IL. You are responsible for making the shipping arrangements with the airline, and we will deliver the kid to the airport. Although delivery to the Bloomington airport is free, we charge $30 for taking an animal to O'Hare, because it is a 3 or 4-hour round-trip to Chicago. All airlines - and ALL out-of-state travel - require a health certificate, which costs $25, and is subject to change without notice. You will also need a dog crate for shipping. You can either mail us your own crate or purchase one on-line and have it delivered to us. Questions about shipping? E-mail us!
A deposit of $100 is required to reserve a goat. Please e-mail us with the name of the kid you want to purchase or the gender of the kid you want to reserve if not born yet, along with the name of the dam. The deposit is non-refundable. You can pay with your credit card through PayPal by clicking on the link below.
