Like what you've seen so far? See more about Scandal on her page (includes more pictures and previous years' show records).

Scandal was purchased as a yearling first freshener in 2004. She is showing some great length of body, levelness of rump, and overall appearance. Her udder has a wonderful texture that makes it very easy to milk, and she has never given us any problems on the milkstand. Her capacity has also greatly improved from her second freshening to her third, giving her a much better udder for her size. She has a wonderful personality.

In addition to all of her show wins in 2006 (four GCH wins and counting), she was also classified by Alice Hall, scoring 88.9, Very Good (VG).

Scandal was bred to Rosasharn FS Pegasus *S and freshened on May 3, 2006 with twin bucks. One may be available. This was a line-breeding on ARMCH Goodwood Tom Thumb +*S E as well as many other outstanding Rosasharn/Goodwood/Twin Creeks goats.

Sherri came to live at Antiquity Oaks as a first freshener in April 2004. We love her personality -- she is one of those goats you can milk anyplace, anytime, with or without a milk stand, and she won't give you any grief about it. She does not do well in the show ring, but is perfect as a family milker. The milk records are from her previous herd.

The picture of Sherri's udder (rear view) is from her third freshening at 21 days fresh with 12 hours of milk. Her teats are longer than they appear (see fore udder picture), as they are placed slightly forward on her udder -- but since they point towards the milk bucket, that's no problem! She is very easy to milk, having a very nice texture to her udder, even when full! We are very excited to see that Sherri's production has increased dramatically from her second to her third freshening, and is milking more than 4 pounds a day at 3 weeks fresh.

We hope to get a full body picture of her as a senior in May or June after she is clipped!

Like what you've seen so far? See more about Carmen on her page (includes more pictures and previous years' show records).

Carmen's personality is just one of the many things that sets her apart. She inherited her personality from her dam, who is our herd queen as well as one of the most people-friendly goats on our farm. Of course, some of Carmen's over-friendliness can be attributed to her having been bottle-raised. *grin* Carmen has a wonderful, soft udder, thick teats, and a wide rear leg set that she definitely inherited from her sire, Antiquity Oaks John Adams. She is very easy to milk (2 pounds a day at her peak in 2005 as a first freshener, 3.8 pounds in 2006 as a second freshener - or 3.6 pounds on official DHI test).

Both Carmen and her daughter attended quite a few shows in 2005, and we were more than impressed with the results. Lizzie, Carmen's daughter, has never placed lower than second in any of her age classes. In fact, at the local 4-H fair, Lizzie won Reserve Grand Champion Junior Doe as a 2 month old, beating Saanens that were much older than she was! We have received many compliments from judges and other exhibitors on both Lizzie and Carmen -- both are definitely keepers.

We kept Coco as a dry yearling in 2005 partly because we couldn't catch her in heat! However, it was good that we did, as she earned the junior leg of her MCH with AGS.

Coco's half-sister (Antiquity Oaks Eve) by the same dam freshened for the second time in 2005 with a very well-attached, correct udder.

We were excited to see Caboose freshen for the first time on March 10, 2006. She has a very correct udder, with a well-defined medial suspensory ligament and well-placed, long teats with large orifices. As a first freshener, her only fault was a lack of production. When placing Caboose third in her class in 2006, Judge Alice Hall said, "This doe caught my eye as soon as she walked into the ring; if she'd had more production she would have easily carried the class." The doe in first place was Reserve Grand Champion Senior Doe.

As a second freshener, Caboose has blown us away. She peaked at 4.5 pounds on DHI test this year at 29 days fresh. Take a look at her new udder pictures and compare them to her first freshening ones!
